Program description: Get My Lawyer Today sends text messages to people who ask us to connect them with law firms. Messages are limited to:

a one-time code to verify your phone number,
a secure sign-in link to your case status page,
short check-ins asking whether you are still looking for a lawyer and whether any firm has contacted you (two yes/no questions — we never ask for details of your legal matter by text), and
if you started telling us about your situation and stepped away, up to two reminders letting you pick up where you left off. Never more than two.

Opt-in: You opt in on getmylawyer.today by providing your phone number during intake and affirmatively accepting a disclosure describing these messages. We record each consent with its disclosure text version, timestamp, IP address, and browser details.

Required vs. optional messages: Verifying your phone number by one-time code is required to use the service — law firms need a working number to reach you. The check-ins, resume reminders, and sign-in links are optional: you can stop them at any time (reply STOP) and your request continues unaffected.

Message frequency: Varies with your activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time to end all messages immediately. STOP is honored before anything else our systems do. Reply START to opt back in.
